Shield All was born from our experience in the roofing and waterproofing industry, originating in 1981. Throughout the years we have provided pressure cleaning services to our customers and noticed the algae/mold would continue coming back. We later discovered that we were not getting to the root of the problem but only temporarily eliminating the surface stains. The water was promoting the growth of the stains and causing the roof to prematurely age. We also learned while other companies were using harsh chemicals (chlorine/bleach) to treat these stains, these treatments were causing damage to the roof underlayment and voiding roof warranties.
